"Play is your child's most natural form of expression."

Play therapy

Children often understand far more about their struggles than they are able to put into words. Through play, they express what feels confusing, overwhelming, or painful, as well as what they need in order to grow. I believe that every child carries an innate awareness of their challenges and an equally strong capacity for healing and change.

Play therapy offers children a safe and supportive space where they can communicate in the language most natural to them — play. Within this space, children are free to explore feelings, experiences, and relationships at their own pace. Toys, games, and creative expression become tools through which children share their inner world, often revealing insights that words alone cannot capture.

My role as a psychologist is not to direct or correct the child, but to listen carefully, remain curious, and support what the child already knows about themselves. By being present, attuned, and responsive, I aim to help children feel seen, understood, and valued. This sense of safety allows them to take emotional risks, develop new ways of coping, and strengthen their sense of self.

Play therapy supports children in working through challenges such as emotional regulation, anxiety, behavioural difficulties, trauma, and changes in their lives. Over time, as children feel more secure and understood, they are able to reconnect with their natural capacity for joy, curiosity, and contentment.

My hope is to support each child in becoming the happy, confident, and content child they are meant to be — not by changing who they are, but by helping them grow into themselves with trust, resilience, and emotional well-being.
